I have been working at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois since 2004. My skills and enthusiasm were recognized when I received the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Social Worker of the Year award (2009). I work primarily with adults that have cancer or are in hospice care. Most of my work centers on adjustment to a chronic or terminal illness. In addition, I do a lot of work with grief/loss and relationship struggles. My 8 years of experience has provided me with a strong foundation of cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems techniques, and solution focused therapy.

I offer short term and long term therapy for individuals and couples. Working with individuals in a variety of settings, I believe that we all have the ability to reach our full capacity as individuals by changing our behaviors, thinking, and way we react to various situations.
